On the other side ....

We crossed over the Mississippi today, in a quality 375 mile ride. The weather cleared just on the other side of the river in Minnesota, which fueled our push! It had been cloudy and more or less drab until we happened upon a massive windfarm...


There must have been 200 turbine towers that spanned the entire horizon and into the distance. They have an eerie vibe about them ... The 100 ft long blades lumber along in silence but the size of the structure seems intensely unnatural and is unsettling up close...pretty fascinating though...
