The terrain was getting a little typical ... with prairies stretching on for hours of riding. We did 450 miles of these prairies before we ended up a very different place called the Badlands. Caused by erosion, the color bands stretch across the entire site which is several miles wide. We camped there and met a strange looking dog that looked like a barrel with four paws and a cute face ...
